Journal of Cognitive Sciences and Human Development (JCSHD) is the official academic journal of the Faculty of Cognitive Sciences and Human Development (FCSHD) of the Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS), Kota Samarahan, Sarawak, Malaysia. This journal was inaugurated in September 2015 (launched in December 2015 albeit) as a peer-reviewed publication. JCSHD is published two times a year, in September and March.

PECERA 2018 MALAYSIA:
START RIGHT, BEGIN THE JOURNEY RIGHT FOR EVERY CHILD
The 19th PECERA International Conference, that is, PECERA 2018 will be held in Kuching, Sarawak Malaysia from 6-8 July 2018. This will be the very first time that the PECERA Annual Conference will be hosted in Malaysia. The 19th PECERA International Conference marks an important event for early childhood education in Malaysia. The aim of PECERA 2018 is to bring together researchers and practitioners in the field of early childhood education to discuss and share research, practices, and development in the field of early childhood education.

UNIMAS has been given the mandate by the Ministry of Human Resource Development to conduct a conference on skilled human capital development specifically for the state of Sarawak. This event is one of the initiatives from federal ministry to support the strategic development of Sarawak through well-planned skills development of human resources. The conference will include participants from industries, educational and vocational institutions, state and federal ministries, government-linked corporations (GLCs) and non-governmental organizations from throughout Malaysia. SHCD2017 serves as a platform to all interested parties; local and international, to enhance their knowledge, skills, abilities and other competencies on human resource development and its linkages.
